Neva Grace Faught Forster passed from this life to the next on Monday, September 26, 2022. She was 93 years old. Neva was born on September 28, 1928 to Virgil and Ella (Neyland) Faught in the small town of Doole, Texas, located in McCullough County. She spent her younger years growing up in Pear Valley, Texas with her younger siblings, Sam and Nina, her half brothers Billy and Alva Jean Lewis, and her beloved cousin, Twila. Neva moved to Houston in the 1940s where she remained for the rest of her life, with the exception of a short time in Lenexa, Kansas. She married her soulmate, Joseph Landry Forster on April 14, 1950 at All Saints Catholic Church in Houston. They had three children, Margaret Gayle, Joseph Lane, and Ellen Marie. She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Joseph Landry Forster; son, Joseph Lane Forster; parents, Ella Neyland Faught and Virgil Ray Faught; siblings, Sam Faught (Virginia), Nina Twardowski, Alva Jean Lewis and Billy Gordon Lewis, and numerous other beloved family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Jacquelyn Sue Briscoe; daughters, Margaret (husband Buddy) Logan and Ellen (husband Craig) O'Connor; grandchildren, Stuart (wife Brittany) Logan, Erin (husband Andrew) Fitzpatrick, Emily Logan (fiancé Brett), Mary Kate (husband Will) Paulley; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Olivia Fitzpatrick, Joseph and Christopher Paulley; daughter-by-choice, Lauren Baldwin; granddaughter-by-choice, Shannon Baldwin (fiancé Rivers); along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
