Katherine Marie David Hankins, 63, of Wichita Falls, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Kathy was born on December 21, 1958 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Robert Andrew David Jr. and Barbara Cecile (Brown) David. Kathy loved getting together with her sisters and "chosen sisters" to play Farkle, she loved clothes, shoes and dragonflies, traveling, and riding her Harley. She was an avid Motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding with the Patriot Guard Riders and supporting our Veterans. Kathy had a very giving and loving spirit and loved unconditional. Her motto in life was "to have a friend is to be a friend". She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Georgia Brown, Robert A. David Sr. and Ann Agnes David. Kathy married Charles Edward Hankins May 19, 1986 in Duval County, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Kassandra Ann Sumner; her son, Joshua David Hankins; the love of her life, Charles Hankins; her parents, Robert and Barbra David; her siblings, Terry Ann Shelton all of Wichita Falls, Kenneth Wayne David of Iowa Park, and Traci Wynette Stegall of Wichita Falls; her grandchildren, Christopher Edward McDonald of Corsicana, and Alessandra Joy Gutel of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews, and a special group of "chosen sisters".
