Maudlin, Betty J. 1925-2022 SAVANNAH, Mo. - Betty Jean Maudlin, 96, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022. She was born on Dec. 2, 1925, in Worth County, Missouri, to Loring and Lorene Horn. Betty married James Willard Maudlin on Oct. 30, 1943. He proceeds her in death along with daughter, Shirley Proctor, brother, Bill Horn. She is survived by sons, David (Karen) and Doug (Nancy) Maudlin. Grandchildren Shelly Baker, Veronica Vendelboe, Chris Proctor, Annie Dowell, Paul Maudlin and Bobby Maudlin. Brothers Bobby and Gary Horn. Betty has 19 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, with another on the way. Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri. Visitation will be held before the services from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Grant City Cemetery in Grant City. St Joseph News Press 9-17-2022
