Carl E. " Lee" Ritter, age 80, of Carthage, Missouri, died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Saint John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri. He was born July 16, 1926, in Brentwood, Arkansas the son of Thomas Wesley and Addie (Robertson ) Ritter. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II, serving in the Philippines. He owned and operated Northgate Auto Salvage and Army Surplus since 1960. He was a member of Whitehouse Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Mildred of the home; two sons, Eddie Ray Ritter and Wesley Ritter, both of Carthage; a daughter, Carla Hance of Carthage; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be 3:00 - 4:00 p. m., today at Knell Mortuary in Carthage. Services will be at 10:00 a. m., Monday in the Knell Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Bruce Myers officiating. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 p. m., Monday in Black Oak Cemetery near Winslow, Arkansas.
