Pauline Elizabeth Couch — Edited September 2, 2022 Pauline Elizabeth Couch, age 98, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Rehab Center and Memory Care at Bristol. She was born in Nickelsville, Virginia. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Bueford Couch; parents, Fielding, and Arlena Hall Isaacs; sister, June Holbrook; brothers, Paul, Lowell, Joe Isaacs, and Raymond Hall; sons-in-law, Kyle Hall, and Gordon Kirk; grandson, Timothy Kirk. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Linda Hall of Coeburn, Janie Kirk of Christiansburg, and Kay Miller of Coeburn; grandchildren, Mary Denby (Chris) of Alexandria, Martha Sartin (Jason) of Coeburn, Michelle Still (Scott) of Savannah, and Andrea Kirk of Christiansburg; great-grandchildren, Wish and Alora Denby, Alyssa Elam (Tyler), Logan and Parker Sartin, Breccan Still, and Faith Wilkins; great great grandchildren, Raelynn and Wyatt Elam; brothers, John Isaacs of Palo Alto, California, Fielding "Buddy" Isaacs of Nickelsville; sisters, Dorothy Moore of Nicklesville and Mary Taylor of St. Paul; special nephew and niece, Lowell and Martha Holbrook of Kingsport. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, VA. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Marty Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery in Coeburn, VA.
