June E. Holbrook, 85, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2012, at Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, Sullivan Co TN. She was born June 12, 1926, in Nickelsville, VA, and was a resident of Kingsport for 54 years. June was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Holbrook; her beloved daughter, Kathryn Jones; parents, Fielding A.and Arlena Hall Issacs; brothers, Paul, Lowell, and Joe Isaacs, and Raymond Hall. Children: Lowell and his wife Martha Holbrook, of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Susan Wilson and husband Kevin, of Maryville, TN, Christina Scarce and husband Chip, of Kingsport, TN, Rebecca Creighton and husband Mike, of Knoxville, TN, Andrew Jones of Maryville, TN, John Holbrook and wife Anna, of Atlanta, GA, and April Jones, of Knoxville, TN; great grandchildren, Lauren Hooks, Katelyn Wilson, Cathryn, Connor, Cason, Camden and Cooper Scarce, and Jackson Holbrook; brothers, John Isaacs, of Palo Alto, CA, Fielding 'Buddy' Isaacs, of Nickelsville, VA; sisters, Pauline Couch, of Kingsport, TN, Mary Taylor, of St. Paul, VA, and Dorothy Moore, of Nickelsville, VA.
