CHILDRESS - H.R. "Hack" Greer, 85, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Childress Cemetery with the Rev. Rogers Simmons and Carl Depew officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Greer was born Aug. 5, 1922, in Childress to Andrew Jackson "A.J." and Clifford Belle Smith Greer. He married Nina Foster on Sept. 6, 1946, in Amarillo. Survivors include three nephews, Dan Greer of Childress, Doug Greer of Graham and Mike Greer of Austin; and a niece, Susan Martinez of Corsicanna.
