Mr. J.W. Christie, 87, of Corsicana passed away on Monday, January 28, 2008 in Temple, Texas. He was born on March 6, 1920 in Navarro County, Texas. He worked as a manager in Tractor sales, and was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with Bro. Bill Honea officiating. Mr. Christie is survived by his Wife, Gale Christie of Corsicana, TX.; Son, Joe Christie of Houston, TX., Son & Daughter-in-Law, John & Jena Perkins of San Antonio, TX.; Grandsons, Eric & Chad Perkins, and a Granddaughter, Daylynn Perkins all of San Antonio, TX. and numerous nieces and nephews.
