Mary Vlasta Vacek Funeral services for Mary Vlasta Vacek, 97, of Midfield, will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Blessing, with the Rev. Peter Higgins officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p. m. today at Triska Funeral Home, El Campo. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a. m. Saturday at the church. Mrs. Vacek was born March 23 1889, in Fayette County, Texas, and died Jan. 28, 1987, at a Needville nursing home. Survivors include a son, Robert Vacek of Guy, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are with Triska Funeral Home, El Campo. Daily Tribune, January 30, 1987
