Funeral services for Annie Mae Skutca, 71, of Blessing will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at Palacios Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan O’Brien officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Blessing. A rosary will be said at 7 p. m. Sunday at Palacios Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Skutca was born Feb. 12, 1914, in El Campo and died Nov. 1, 1985, at Gulf Cost Medical Center, Wharton. She has resided in Matagorda County since 1935. Survivors include her husband, Walter L. Skutca of Blessing; two daughters, Pat Wallace of Bellville and Jo Lynette Kubecka of Blessing; four sisters; and six grandchildren, Shannon and Craig Skutca, Patrick and David Wallace and Desha and Cassie Kubecka.
