Bio

Adolph Kudron, age 84, died Monday, August 1, 2022, at Brookestone Acres in Columbus. Burial is in the All Saints Cemetery with military honors by The American Legion Hartman Post #84 Honor Guard. ---- Adolph Jr. was born March 2, 1938, at St. Mary's Hospital in Columbus, NE to Adolph Sr. and Irene (Sliva) Kudron. He received his education in Tarnov, NE until the ninth grade and then went to work for Platte County. In 1956, Junior enlisted in the Navy and served 4 years. He was in the Navy Seabees and stationed in Cuba, Puerto Rico and Spain. He returned home in 1960 and went to work for the State of Nebraska Department of Roads where he enjoyed a 43-year career. On May 19, 1962, he was united in marriage to Janet Zoucha at St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan, NE. They were married for 60 years. After living in Duncan, Junior and Janet moved to Columbus and attended St Anthony's Catholic Church. At St Anthony's he served as an usher for 44 years. Junior had a passion for baseball, which he played often while in the Navy and at home. He also played fast pitch and slow pitch softball later on. He enjoyed classic country music, old westerns, and war movies. He will be remembered as quite the storyteller and had a good sense of humor.
