Donna Jean Laudenklos, daughter of Conrad Henry and Grace (Blair) Travers was born on June 1, 1945 at Fullerton, NE. She attended school in Fullerton and graduated in 1963. On August 3, 1963 Donna was united in marriage to Marvin Laudenklos at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion, NE. The family lived and farmed east of Albion, NE. Donna worked as a housewife, mother, and homemaker. In 1998 she moved to Norfolk. She enjoyed watching Heartland, playing cards, puzzle books, and word finds. Her family enjoyed her cooking, especially her fried chicken, potato salad, and ground bologna. Donna is survived by her children Marcella Laudenklos and Allen Laudenklos both of Norfolk, NE; Betty (Matthew) Schmeckpeper of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren: David Kohl (Josh Yeutter) of Neligh, NE; Jasmine (John) Dow of Meadow Grove, NE; Harley Schmeckpeper and Lucas Schmeckpeper both of Council Bluffs, IA; Kimberlee Wirges of Norfolk, NE; Makayla Schmeckpeper and Emily Schmeckpeper both of Council Bluffs, IA; great-granddaughter Chevelle Dow of Meadow Grove, NE; great-grandsons Bentlee and Lorenzo Dow of Meadow Grove, NE; and family friend: Michael Wirges of Meadow Grove, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin "Dale" Laudenklos; daughter Sandra Laudenklos; grandson: Alex Schmeckpeper; brother Dickie Travers; and brother-in-law Alvin Laudenklos.
