Wichita Eagle, Wednesday, October 17, 1956 Louella Shockey's Funeral Rites Set Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Broadway Mortuary for Mrs. Louella Hook Shockey, 64, of 7507 S. Broadway. The Rev. Paul G. Davis of Haysville Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Waco Cemetery. Casket bearers will be F. E. Blood, L. A. Nelson, John Landon, Eugene Tomlinson, John S. Cannon and Clinton Cornett. Mrs. Shockey died Monday night at her home following long illness. She was born March 1, 1892, in Winfield, Kan. She had resided in Wichita for the past 32 years, coming here from! Winfield. She and Ira H. Shockey were married Sept. 8, 1915. He survives. Mrs. Shockey was a member of Winfield Christian Church.
