Bio
Services for Pvt. Fred H. Parrish were in the Iredell Baptist Church. Honor guard and casketbearers were from Camp Bowie, Texas. Pvt. Parrish and his parents were formerly residents of the Ohio community in Hamilton County. He died of pneumonia at Ft. Francis E. Warren, Wyoming. Survivors are his wife; his parents; two sisters; one brother; his grandparents. The flag ceremony was in charge of Sgt. Bud NIchols. Pvt. Breezy Westmoreland of Camp Bowie rendered a solo, "God Be With You Till We Meet Again". Pvt. Parrish had lived i Hamilton County most of his life. He married Miss Frances Pylant on 12 September 1936 in Iredell, Texas. He was called into service of his country on 31 November 1942.
