FUNERAL IN CHEYENNE SATURDAY FOR GEORGE ANDERSON George Anderson, 69-year-old retired rancher of the White Crest Community, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne. Funeral services were conducted Saturday with Rev. Fred Clark officiating. He was born July 2, 1885, at Atlantic, Ia., and came in 1909 to Wyoming where he filed on a homestead in the White Crest community. The family had made their home there until moving to Cheyenne about 10 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Ada of Cheyenne; two sons, Earl and Clarence, both of Cheyenne; five daughters, Mrs. Harold (Vera)McWilliams of Hillsdale, Mrs. Dick (Blanche) Guthrie, Mrs. C. R. (Dorothy) Sharp, Jr. and Mrs. Harold (Wyoma) Dunston, all of Cheyenne, and Mrs. Carl (Rose) Law of Jacksonville, Fls.; a brother, R. B. Anderson of White Crest community and 12 grandchildren. Note:George Washington Anderson is the son of Robert Thomas & Agnes (Duncan) Anderson, natives of Pennsylvania and Scotland respectively. He is named for his Uncle, Washington Beale Anderson. George and Ada Anderson were granted a 160 acre Homestead in Laramie County, Wyoming on 21 Aug 1913 and again on 21 Apr 1920 for 155 acres.
