Henry Dietrich, Jr. was born October 19, 1929 and went to live with the saints in heaven on July 5, 2022. Henry was born in the Heights, and lived in the Houston area all of his life. He was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Heights, where he met the love of his life, Valeria Mittelstaedt, in fourth grade at Immanuel school. They were married there on February 11, 1950. As a member, he served in various positions including President and was on the Board of Elders for 42 years. Henry spent his working career with the Deterring Company and Custom-Building Supply. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved anything to do with the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Sr. and Bernice Dietrich; and son, Steven Dietrich. Henry is survived by his loving wife, Valeria Dietrich; daughter-in-law, Ann Dietrich; daughter, Cindy and husband Ken Wright; son, David and wife Terri Dietrich. Henry was blessed to have enjoyed three grandchildren, Michelle Wright, Jeff Wright and wife Carlee, and Michael Dietrich. Later in his life he was again blessed to witness the excitement and enjoyment of three great grand-children, Kade, Rubie and Baker Wright.
