Bio

The Superior Express (Superior, NE), Thursday, April 27, 1961; pg. 5 Kimminau - Krebsbach Nuptials St. Stephens Catholic church (sic), Lawrence, was the scene of the marriage of Dolores Kimminau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kimminau, to Arnold Krebsbach, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Krebsbach on April 15 at10:00 a.m. Rev, John Kelly officiated at the double ring ceremony and offered the Nuptial Mass which followed. Bouquets of pastel carnations decorated the altars. The bride chose for her attendants, Miss Lois Krebsbach, sister of the bridegroom, as maid of honor and Misses Kathryn Wedrmeskerch and Eileen Kimminau, cousins of the bride, as bridesmaids. They wore Identical gown of silk organs over net and taffeta in pink, aqua and lavender, respectively. The V neck of folded organza, was accented by two roses of organza at the midriff with deep colored streamers to the hemline. They wore matching headpieces of net topped with a small crown. They wore white glove and carried nosegay bouquets of white carnations with streamers matching their gowns. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor length gown of white nylon organza over net and taffeta. The fitted bodice was fashioned of lace over taffeta with a scalloped sabrina neckline studded with tiny pearl and sequin trim and long bridal sleeves. The nylon organza skirt was highlighted by appliques of Chantilly lace trimmed with sequins and pearls throughout the skirt. The back was accented by a large bow at the waistline. Her elbow-length veil fell from a miniature queen's crown of lace and sequins bejeweled with teardrop pearls. Her single strand of pearls was a gift of the bridegroom and she carried a cascade bouquet of pink carnations. Attending the groom was LaVern Kimminau, brother of the bride, David Krebsbach and Robert Himmelberg, brother, and cousin of the bridegroom. Ushers were Arnold Mertens and Art Kitten. A dinner and reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony. Miss Janet Heil was in charge of the guest book. In the evening the young couple entertained at a dance in the American Legion Hall. The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School and has been employed by the Mode O'Day Corp. in Hastings. The bridegroom is employed by the Cook Construction Co., in Lincoln. The couple will make their home in Lincoln. ==================== Delores E.
