Bio
Billy J. Golliday passed away Friday, July 25, 2014, in North Richland Hills. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Cherry drawing room of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Billy was born in Denton County to John Douglas and Nell Golliday. He was a math teacher for many years and enjoyed being a machinist. Billy was a proud father of sons who were Eagle Scouts. He also had a daughter, Billie, who was "Daddy's little girl." He loved children and always had a smile on his face. Billy was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Donald Ray Golliday. Survivors: His loving wife, Clara Nell; children, John Marshal Golliday and Billie Wahrer; grandchildren, Chris Golliday, Donnie Golliday, Rachael King, and Angela Reichert; and sisters, Mary Jo Stover and Kathy McFarlen.
