Bio

Richard A. Brown, 76, of Ashland, IL died Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at his home. He was born August 3, 1945, in Virginia, the son of Walter and Mable Cooper Brown, Sr. He married (Brockman) on July 8, 1988, in Springfield, and she survives. Mr. Brown served in the United States Army, retiring after twenty years of service. He then worked for the State of Illinois Department of Revenue. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
