Bio

Doris Anne St. John went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 7, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Debra Norwood and husband Bryan Norwood; son Stephen St. John and wife Elizabeth St. John; grandson Taylor St. John and wife Silvia St. John and great granddaughter Audrey Grace St. John; granddaughter Lynn Norwood and husband Trey Perry. Doris was born in Strawn, Texas on June 11, 1933, the daughter of Franklin Pierce Grant and Georgia Viola Grant. Doris was married 65 years to the love of her life, husband Bill St. John. Doris and Bill travelled the world together. Both were avid sports fans and loved playing bridge. Doris was a passionate tennis player and followed professional tennis up until the time of her passing. Doris and Bill were active longtime members of the First Baptist Church of Richardson. Doris' final days and hours were spent surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. Private funeral services will be held by the family at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
