Bio
Daughter of William F. & Caroline (Korte) Loseke. She attended grammar school at Postville and graduated from Kramer High School in 1938. After graduation, Evelyn worked at Montgomery Ward, and then at T & S Appliance Co. She married Lawrence "Lorney" Nyffeler on September 8, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church. They lived on a farm between Duncan and Columbus until 1977 when they moved to Wagner's Lake in Columbus. Evelyn enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and volunteering her time. She especially enjoyed the 14 years she played the organ in the Nifty's - a band founded by her and her husband. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for 74 years, Welca, the Leaf and Petal Garden Club, and the Peaceful Valley Club.
