Bio

Daughter of William F. & Caroline (Korte) Loseke. When she was very young, the family moved to a farm northwest of Platte Center, Nebraska. She attended Post View Elementary School. Viola was baptized on Nov. 18, 1906, and confirmed on April 9, 1922, and has been a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Platte County, Nebraska. Viola married Werner J. Klug on October 14, 1925 at St. John's Lutheran Church. They lived and farmed north of Richland until 1981 when they moved to Columbus, Nebraska. When Werner's health began to fail, they moved to the Midwest Covenant Home, Stromsburg, Nebraska in 1988. Werner passed away in 1989. Viola always enjoyed getting up early to work in her flower garden and keeping her lawn beautiful until her later years. Up until 9 months ago, Viola enjoyed crocheting and making baptismal napkins for church. The last one's didn't quite get finished. Viola was very interested in her family and friends activities. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and keeping up on current events.
