Mrs. Owen Phillips UNION CITY - Mrs. Rose E. (Richardson) Phillips, 86, of Tampa, Fla., and formerly of Union City, died today in a Tampa hospital. She was born in Branch County and resided in the Union City area before moving to Florida in 1962. She was a nurse and had been employed by area hospitals. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Howard E. Hammond in 1955, and Owen Phillips, in 1964. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Mary Barnett of Tampa; 13 grandchildren; and a stepson, Clarence Phillips of Henderson, N.Y. Interment North Sherwood Cemetery.
