Bio

Lois D. Bennett, 86, of Louisville, passed away May 16, 2022 at UofL Health, Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ores and Lola Simpson Dunbar; along with her siblings, Ernest Dunbar, Lonice Richards, Jo Ann Baker, and Linda Gaskins. She is survived by her loving husband, James Bennett; two daughters, Jean Harper (Phillip) and Donna Lieber (Tom); two brothers, Eris and Gary Dunbar; along with five grandchildren, Britney Sutherland (Josh), Travis Carlisle, Brad Lieber (Tiffany), Trent Lieber, and Lindsey Woods (Lukas) and ten grandchildren. At the request of the family, all services will be private. Her final resting place will be Bethany Cemetery, Louisville.
