Mildred E. McKenzie, age 97 passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022. Mildred was born September 3, 1924 in Elgin, Texas. She was born in Elgin, Texas on September 3, 1924. She was married to Douglas McKenzie for 72 years. She was a homemaker and a wonderful caregiver who took care of countless family and friends through their illnesses. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 6 siblings. She is survived by her son Gary and wife Jerlynn, granddaughters Sheri Miller (Bobby), Kristi Beebe (Josh), 5 great-grandchildren Jacob, Corbin, Luke, Kayla, and Kyle. A visitation for Mildred will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
