Bio
Randall Verl Fletcher, age 60, of Rusk went home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours on Saturday, April 23, 2022. He was born on May 31, 1961 to Verl Fletcher and Carolyn Turner. Mr. Fletcher was a retired correctional officer for TDCJ. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, and going to the races. He loved his kids and grandkids, and rarely met a stranger. Randy was one of the funniest people you've ever met; he had a knack for always making people laugh. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otis and Beulah Fletcher, parents, Verl Fletcher and Carolyn Turner, and his loving wife of 17 years, Sheri Fletcher. He is survived by his four children, son Jody Fletcher, and wife, Kelli Fletcher of Slocum, son John Trotter and wife Kelbi of Huntsville, daughter Hannah Fletcher of Tyler, son Chris Fletcher of Rusk; five grandchildren, Zeke, Jocelyn, Kashlyn, Gatlyn, and Triton; and siblings, Elizabeth Kelly, William Fletcher, and Clifton Fletcher. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 with more details to follow. Mr. Fletcher passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
