Mrs. Peggy Smith LINDALE - Services for Mrs. Peggy Smith, 60, Lindale, relative of Tyler residents, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home in Lindale with Dr. R. Byron Orand and the Rev. Frankie Enloe officiating. Burial will be in Lindale City Cemetery. Mrs. Smith died Thursday at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born March 26, 1930, in Allen, and was of Allen and Farmersville before moving to Lindale in 1980. She was a member of Lindale First Baptist Church and a bookkeeper for Cades Lumber Co. in Mineola. Survivors include her husband, John D. Smith, Lindale; three sons. Rick Smith, Tyler, Chuck Smith, Gilmer, and Ronny Smith, Allen; two daughters. Phyllis Morris, Eustace, and Beverly Dill, Garland; her mother, Mrs. Bessie Brooks, Allen; a brother, H.C. Brooks Jr., Tom Bean; a sister, Lynda Caplinger, Allen; nine grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Larry Pemberton, Jeff Cade, Don Branscan, Craig Brooks, Donnie Caplinger and Larry Morris Tyler Morning Telegraph , Tyler, Texas, Saturday, June 30, 1990, Page: 8
