The Victoria Advocate Victoria, Texas Sunday, June 7, 2015, page B2 SHENANDOAH - Evelyn Marie Janssen Fitch Stojanik passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at the age of 84, in Shenandoah, TX. Born in El Toro, TX to the late Henry Janssen and Augusta Gerges Janssen. Preceded in death by brother, Alfred Janssen. Evelyn went to school in Ganado and lived in Spring Branch since 1962. She was employed at Long Point Nat'l/MBank for over 30 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed going to resale shops and Salvation Army Auction. Evelyn also had many parties at her home, which included poker and "42". Survived by daughters, Gwendolyn Quinn (Dale) and Barbara Stagner (Jack); sisters, Edna Stanford and Velma Howard; and brothers, Walter Janssen and Ernest Janssen. Evelyn also leave behind four grandchildren: Jerome Stagner, Benjamin Stagner, Paula Green and Cheryl Fedechko, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a future date.
