Theodore "Ted" Alfonse Stojanik, born May 30, 1936, passed away on May 10, 2002 at the age of 65. Rosary will be 7 PM, Monday May 13, 2002 at the Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Mass will be 10 AM, Tuesday May 14, 2002 at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Granger. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Granger. Theodore grew up in Granger, Texas. He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for eighteen years. He moved all around Texas and eventually settled in Houston. He started a successful HVAC company, which he ran for many years before leaving it to his sons. Up until his death he worked as a beekeeper, which had been a lifelong hobby. Theodore "Ted" Stojanik is survived by his parents, Alfonse and Betty Stojanik; one son, Phillip and wife, Jerri Anne Stojanik; two stepdaughters, Amy Stevens and husband, Michael, and Barbara and husband Billy Joyce; one grandson, Christopher Stojanik; seven step-grandchildren, Nathan, Jonathon and Joshua Joyce, Ryan, Brandon, Travis and Dylan Stevens; two brothers, Leonard Stojanik and Howard Stojanik and wife, Anna Marie; two sisters, Barbara "Urbanek" Blomquist and husband, Karl, and Sandra Faltesek and husband, Alvin; and many loving relatives and friends. Theodore was preceded in death by one son, Nicholas Stojanik. Pallbearers will be James Stojanik, Daniel Faltesek, Gary Urbanek, Donald Thele, Moses Ramirez, Scott Hastings, Steve Michalek and Steve Pustejovsky. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Michalek, Melvin Marek, John W. Barker, Patrick Cain, Greg Michalek, and Tony Byrd.
