Bio

Daughter of Jacob & Mary (Sidner) Bleach, wife of David C. Gray, m. Sept. 14, 1904. Mrs. David Gray of Kewanee passed away July 17, in the Osteopathic Hospital in Davenport. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 20, in the Kidd Funeral Home in Toulon with burial in Princeville Cemetery. Etta Bleach was born June 5, 1886, in West Jersey. She married David Gray September 14, 1904. They farmed near West Jersey until moving to Kewanee in 1956. Mr. Gray died May 27, 1970. She was a member of the West Jersey Methodist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Erma) Newman of Kewanee, four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Raymond Gray, in 1970. Wyoming Post Herald, August 2, 1972. Transcribed and submitted by Ethel .
