Son of Joseph & Catherine (White) Gray, husband of Etta Bleach, married Sept. 14, 1904. David C. Gray, 86, former Toulon rural area farmer, was dead on arrival at Kewanee Public Hospital last Wednesday morning May 27, 1970. Mr. Gray was born January 15, 1884, near Princeville. He married Etta Bleach September 14, 1904, in West Jersey. They observed their 65th wedding anniversary last September. They lived on a farm near West Jersey until 1956 when he retired and moved to Kewanee where they resided on East Mill Street. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Erma) Newman of Kewanee; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Lambertson of Akron, Colo., and Mrs. Florence Wheeler of Kewanee; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. His only son, Raymond, died January 19, 1970, and he was also preceded by two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Kidd Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Herrick of Kewanee, First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Princeville Cemetery. Wyoming Post Herald, June 3, 1970. Transcribed and submitted by Ethel .
