Maurene Clark, 82, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in Palestine. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Handley Baptist Church. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Maurene Clark was born April 16, 1920, in Childress. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vera Ward Scarborough. Survivors: Husband, Frank Clark of Palestine; brother, Frank Michael Clark and wife, Pam, of Kingsland; daughters, Suzette Murry and husband, Bill, of Palestine and Kimberly Ann Clark of Arlington; granddaughters, Lisa Vickery, Lori Morrow and Lynn Goolsby, all of Palestine; six great-grandchildren; nephew, Jewett Scarborough of Pampa; and grandsons, Eric Lewis of Dallas and David Casillas of Fort Worth. Published by Star-Telegram on Oct. 4, 2002.
