Bio

Clarence Barclay, 83, of Amarillo died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery with Jim Fox, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Military rites will be by DAV Chapter No. 26. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Mr. Barclay was a mechanic and had served in the Army during World War II. Survivors include two daughters, Christina Saxelby of Simi Valley, Calif., and Julie Cortes of Amarillo; three sons, Ray Barclay and Bill Barclay, both of Amarillo, and David Barclay of Houston; two brothers, Sol Barclay of Lockney and Dalton Barclay of Kingman, Ariz.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
