Christine Harris Redding, 80, of Greenville died Thursday morning, July 11 at her residence. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Weems and Rev. Johnny Hailes officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park. She was born July 6, 1922, in Emblem, daughter of Ora Lee Patterson and Mabel Elizabeth Littrell. Mrs. Redding retired from Haggar's Manufacturing with 33 years of service and also retired following 20 years as a real estate broker for Ken Hale. She was a member of Park Street Baptist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Pam Harris of Greenville; daughters and son-in-law Diane and Ronnie Lamb of Greenville and Beverly Jean Harris of Denton; a brother and sister-in-law, L.D. and Betty Patterson of Sulphur Springs; granddaughters Cindy Lamb of Mesquite, Kristi Lamb of Dallas, RaeAnne and husband Mike McGriff of Combine, Shannon Harris of Greenville and Shelley Harris of Dallas; great-granddaughter Cameron Coleman of Greenville and devoted friend Ollie Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Ray Harris, in 1959; husband A.E. Redding in 1988 and granddaughter Dusty Lynn Lamb in 1967. ∼ Garden of Meditation (East of Sidewalk) in Memoryland Memorial Park Cemetery.
