From obituary printed in the Thursday, July 7, 1988 Schuyler Sun, Schuyler, Nebraska Funeral services for Beverly Ann (Betty, Mrs. Harold) Neemeyer, 60, were held Saturday at 10am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus, Nebraska. Rev. Tim White officiated with burial in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Neemeyer was born April 23, 1928 south of Creston, Nebraska, the daughter of Roy and Ethel (Postle) Lake. She attended District 48 school and married Harold Neemeyer April 6, 1947 in Columbus, Nebraska. She lived all her life north of Columbus. Mrs. Neemeyer was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She died Tuesday at her home. She leaves her husband, Harold, Columbus; four sons, Dennis, Kearney, Nebraska; Richard, Leigh, Tim, Columbus and Tom, Platte Center, Nebraska; one daughter, Beverly Jean, Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers, Robert Lake and Everett Lake, Leigh, Nebraska; three sisters, Berniece Hollman, Bellwood, Nebraska; Virginia Reisdorf, Tulare, South Dakota, and Peggy Rosenberry, Shelby, Nebraska, and 10 grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death.
