Graveside service for J.W. Hoover, age 90 of Dallas, TX will be held at 11:00A.M. on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Ridgeway Cemetery with Rev. James O'Dell officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Hoover passed away on March 7, 2022 at his residence. J.W. was born on December 3, 1931 in Yantis, TX to Francis Leon and Dora Mae (Reppond) Hoover. He married Jackie Watson in Sulphur Springs, TX in 1950. J. W was a retired from Holmes Freight Line and a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Mesquite. He is survived by his daughters, Aundrea Merrell and husband Paul, Brenda Cooper and husband, Cliff; grandchildren, Michael Cleaver, Tim Cooper and wife, Crystal and Matt Cooper and wife, Marianne; eight great grandchildren. J.W. was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jackie; one brother and two sisters.
