Johnnie Hall Terry, 72, of Huntsville, Tennessee passed away December 23, 2007, at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida. Born in Oneida, March 8, 1935, he was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Florra Hall Terry; one sister, Mary Jane Foster; father-in-law, Chad Ellis; and brother-in-law, Archie Ellis. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church; a member of Masonic Lodge #695, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars #695, and a member of American Legion Post #136 of Oneida. He is survived by his wife, Linda Ellis Terry; three children: John Marion Terry, Jason Myron and wife, Kathy, of Winfield, and Chad Edward Dishman and wife, Jennifer, of Oneida; four grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Matthews and husband, Jerry, and Peggy West and husband, Larry, all of Oneida; three brothers: Donald Terry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Howard Terry and wife, Nancy, of Oneida, and Charlie Terry of San Diego, California; mother-in-law, Vivian Ellis of Oneida; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives. Graveside service in the Terry Addition of Litton Cemetery in Oneida with full military honors conducted by American Legion Post #136 of Oneida.
