Mrs. Leota "Marlene" Adkins, age 90 of Copperhill, TN passed away on February 24, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Coeburn, VA to the late John D. and Orpha Sue Powers Stallard. During her high school days, she was a talented basketball player and continued her love of sports her entire life. She loved to travel the country and enjoyed attending the Church of God Harris Chapel in Murphy, NC. Marlene was the last of her 10 siblings. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Chapel. Interment will follow in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens.
