Bio

Minnie E. Worthen Ellison was the daughter of Richard Jasper Worthen (1841-1909), s/o Isham Worthen and Rebecca Elizabeth Hooker, and Lockey Emeline Woolsey (1846-1924). She married Matthew Greenlee Ellison, a widower whose first wife was Effie Blanche Lauderdale. Minnie helped raise Matthew's four children and they soon added a large number of additional children to the family. Minnie was said to have been a very good mother to them all.
