Helen Ann Samek, age 79, of Lincoln, passed away on February 16, 2022. A graveside Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery, Section 26 with Debbie Way officiating. Casual attire is requested. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family to designate later. Helen was born April 17, 1942, in Brainard, NE to Anton and Rosa (Coufal) Novak. She graduated from Brainard High School and later married Valerian Samek. To this union, 7 children were born. She is very much loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Valerian Samek; her Mother Rosa (Marv) Wilson and her father Anton Novak; brothers Donny and Dennis Novak; daughter Susan Cropp; brother-in-law Bob Bouc and niece Kayla Novak. Helen is survived by her children Rose (Danny) Kubicek, Adrian Samek, of Lincoln, Grace (Jon) Egner of Wilber, Michelle (Jeff Hartshorn) Samek of Valley, Michael (Jennifer Phillips) Samek of Dorcester, and Matthew (Meghan) Samek of Seward; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. https://wyuka.com/2022/02/19/helen-a-samek/
