Bio
After a brief, but difficult illness, Shirley Ann (Trantham) Crosson, of Comanche, Texas, passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of seventy-four. Born in Kaufman, Texas, Shirley was the daughter of Daniel C. and Vera M. (Hendricks) Trantham and lived with her family in Big Spring, Texas, where she graduated from high school. She married Jimmy Walter Crosson on April 28, 1967, in Scurry, Texas, and they began their family in Andrews, Texas. During their life together, Jimmy and Shirley lived in various towns across Texas, California, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado, due to his career in the oil industry. As we all deeply mourn the unexpected passing of Shirley, please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. Shirley's love for us all and her soft, southern voice will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Vera Trantham; sisters Linda J. Morris, Juanita S. Smith, C. Joyce Osborn, Charlsie F. Knedlik; and brother, Roy C. Trantham. Shirley is survived by her husband, Jimmy; and daughter, Kemberly M. Wardlaw and husband, Trevor, of Waco; and grandchildren Patrick, Brett, and Tori.
