Bio

Howard Huel Logan, of Sylacauga, passed away at home July 16, 2010, following a lengthy illness. Graveside services with military honors will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, July 19, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m., prior to the service. Howard served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the Battleship U.S.S. Wyoming during WWII. He was one of the first to help start up Kimberly Clark Paper Mill at Coosa Pines in 1949 and retired as Mill Maintenance Superintendent with 37 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylacauga, the Keystone Bible Class, and Carpenters for Christ.
