Obituary from the Tennessean August 11, 2009: Edythe Logan Hamrick Stevens, born in Marion Co., AL on August 7, 1919. Died August 9, 2009 two days after her 90th birthday. Preceded in death by her first husband, father of her children, Allen Bonds Hamrick; daughter, Gloria Hamrick O'Dell; grandson, John Foster. Survived by daughters, Janice Hamrick (Tom) Farr, Brenda Hamrick Eidson; son, Kenneth (Diane) Hamrick; grandchildren, Clifford Foster, Cheryl (Joe) Coffey, Lisa (John) Doran, David Foster, Richard Foster, Carl (Jennie Lou) Eidson, Jr., Carole Eidson (Jeff) Barnes, David (Allison) Hamrick; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Logan and J. D. Logan of Alabama. She was a member of Kemper Heights Church of Christ and was retired from Harvey's Dept. Store. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 11-2 p.m., at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Rd., with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m., conducted by Bro. Ken Green. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
