Unfortunately the cemetery is untended. There are 2 gravestones we found that are readable, and 2 beveled stone bases that we assume had headstones at one time. And possibly, like Betty Lou, there may be some unmarked.

Bio

Betty Lou Cassity was the first child of Otis and Nora Cassity, Sr. She was born and died on same day in approx 1926. Otis was a Santa Fe railway agent and telegrapher in the area. They lived near Grandview Baptist and attended church there. Betty Lou is buried in the church cemetery in an unmarked grave, location of the plot is unknown. I know my Grannie Nora told us the area of the grave many years ago but that info has been lost with time. This church and community were only a mile or two south of Three Sands and the surrounding oil fields. Otis and Nora went on to have 2 more children, Peggy and Patty.
