Agnes Mary Riddle Martin (May 10, 1894 ~ April 07, 1965) *** Mrs. Agnes Martin Galena, Kan. — Graveside rites will be at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon at Hill Crest cemetery here for Mrs. Agnes Martin, 66 years old, former Galena resident, who died Tuesday night in a Harrison, Ark., hospital. The Holt funeral home of Harrison is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Martin, widow of the late William Martin, resided in Galena for 25 years before moving to Seattle. Wash, more than 10 years ago The Martins operated a grocery store in Galena for several years prior to her husband's death Mrs. Martin was visiting with a niece in Harrison, Ark., when she became ill and was admitted to the hospital where she died. Mrs. Martin was a sister of Mrs. Icy Ransom of Baxter Springs. Several other brothers and sisters survive, who do not reside in the area.
