Mark Douglas Killian 68 of Kelton passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2022, in North Fairview Cemetery with Keith Martin officiating. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. He was born February 11, 1953, in Wellington, to J.B. and Louise Young Killian. He married Phyllis Thomas on November 4, 1972, in Wellington. Mark was a lifetime resident of Collingsworth County until he recently went to work for Buckingham Farms in Wheeler County, residing in Kelton. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1971. He had farmed most his life and for a time was a long-haul truck driver. Mark was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he and Phyllis led the UMY for several years and made many trips with them. He was a former Sunday School teacher and served on the Administrative Board. He helped get the WHS baseball program started. Mark was a certified umpire for Little League and Senior League and was active with both leagues in Wellington for many years. He loved kids and baseball. Mark also loved his family and was very proud of his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gary Killian. Mark's survivors include his wife, 3 sons, his brother and his wife, a sister and her husband, his sister and 5 grandchildren.
