Michele F. Knott (Mickey), 75 of Lincoln, died January 25, 2022. Born October 17, 1946, in Odgen, Utah, the daughter of Mike Dubas and Dolores Went Dubas. She married John J. Knott on January 28, 1977 in Grand Island, NE. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Mickey graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, NE in 1965. She loved fishing (particularly at Branched Oak Lake), gardening, canning, cooking, craft fairs, floral arranging, history and the Hallmark Channel. Many will remember her gifts of salsa made with ingredients from her own garden. Mickey took great pride in her support of the Lincoln Police Department and often provided meals for those on duty over the holidays. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family (particularly her cousin Tammy who she affectionately called her sister) and her friends. Mickey's faith was extremely important to her and she looked forward to "going home" to be with Jesus. She has been called home at last. She will be missed by many. A Celebration of Mickey's Life will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Butherus Maser and Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St, Lincoln, NE.
