The Lufkin Daily News Jan. 22, 2009 Services for Carrie LaVana Ivy, 95, of Huntington will be held Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother James Forrest and Brother Joe Sawyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery. Ivy was born Feb. 8, 1913 in Huntington and died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, in a local hospital. Survivors include her son, Burl Ivy; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
