Bio
Paula Margaret Cady was born January 1, 1946, in Columbus, NE, the daughter of Clinton and Margaret (Haney) Cady. Paula graduated from St. Cecilia High School in Omaha, Nebraska in 1964, and earned her business degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She spent over 30 years as Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. Paula never met a stranger, and always had a big smile and a kind word (and even a hug) for all. While Nebraska was always "home," Paula lived in Colorado Springs, CO and Anchorage, AK, as well as spending 20 years living with her lifelong best friend, her brother John, in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2010, after John's passing, Paula moved back to Nebraska to be closer to her family. In 2019, Paula was diagnosed with Dementia. She lived her final years at home, with her son John as her caregiver, until she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on January 9th, 2022. Paula is survived by her son, five grandchildren, and by her beloved ragdoll cat, Buddy. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, John and Fred Cady.
