Bio
Frederick is the son of Cora Margaret and Clinton Otto Cady. The oldest of four children, he graudated from St. Cecelia Cathedral Catholic High School in Omaha, NE in 1957, and went on to graduate from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1962. After working at NASA in the Air Force for several years, Fred went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, graduating in 1968. While studying for a Doctorate in Behavioral Psychology, Fred felt the vocational call of priesthood and decided to leave the program and return to Omaha, NE. After attending a retreat with the Jesuits in 1974, he was encouraged to reflect for a year prior to joining the seminary. He soon met Linda and it was love at first sight. They were married on July 4-1975. Together they raised 5 children.
